Russ is a product development engineer that has worked in the cardiovascular, orthopedic, sterile packaging, and blood management medical device spaces. He studied physics as an undergraduate and after teaching high school physics went back to school and got a M.S. of Engineering in Product Design and Development. His accomplishments include multiple medical device product releases, value engineering projects focused on design for manufacturing, and the creation of product design/development and risk management training modules. In his personal time, Russ is an avid woodworker, pet owner, home improvement DIY’er, and enjoys fostering dogs with local rescue groups.
