Intro to SysML Simulation

Duration:

16 hrs

* Virtual * Live Instructor * Public Course *

What is it?

Introduction to SysML Simulation is a hands-on application course that introduces participants to essential concepts for SysML simulation using the CATIA Magic products. You will gain an understanding of concepts like system context, behavior classification, instances, runtime objects and values, simulation timing, user interfaces, and simulation configurations. You will build two executable models that showcase CATIA Magic’s simulation capabilities.

What do you gain?

  • Understanding of essential simulation concepts including instances, system behaviors, simulation timing, user interfaces, and simulation configurations
  • Practical experience constructing executable models with interconnected diagrams, user interfaces, and reusable simulations
  • Practical experience performing Monte Carlo analyses to assess system performance and conformance to requirements

Who should take it?

This course is ideal for system engineers, architects, project managers, and professionals involved in system development seeking to enhance their MBSE and SysML skills in modeling and simulation. This course is not geared at teaching the SysML language, but does review SysML syntax during executable model construction.

What do I need to know before?

Participants should be familiar with CATIA Magic product’s interface and comfortable constructing a variety of SysML diagrams.
